How One Book Changed My Life

I have been an avid reader my entire life. I’m usually a huge romantic, mystery, scary genre type of person. Recently I’ve had a big calling to grow in my faith with the Lord. I searched on Amazon for Christian books on starting a journey with finding your faith. I have always had a strong belief in who God is but I haven’t felt a very close connection with him. So I found a book by Sadie Robertson called “Life Fearless: A Call to Power, Passion, and Purpose” which I fell in love with.

For those of you who don’t who Sadie is, she is a woman my age so mid twenties who is a major advocate and speaker for women and men wanting to learn more Jesus. She’s a huge role model and inspiration to so many, including me. For those of you wanting to grow more in faith and don’t really know where to start, this book is the perfect place to do it. Sadie focuses on how fear and negative self talk took over her life. This lead to her saying no to great opportunities and living a life based of solid fear. She starts off with her story and how all of that affected her. Throughout the book, readers learn how she overcame her fears by putting all of her trust in Jesus.

Challenges, tips and tricks, along with many bible verses are mentioned in this book. I felt myself grow spiritually with Jesus by dedicating my time reading this book. I totally recommend this book for anyone experiencing any of the same things I did. I’m always open ears for anyone needing to talk or process emotions going on! As for a note to Sadie: I thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing this novel and sharing your wisdom with us. I’ve grown so much with Jesus and this is only the beginning. You have truly shown me a new side to everything. I thank you so so much. As for everyone else, thanks for reading my short blog about this new read of mine! If you decide to take a chance and read it, I hope that it helps you as much as it helps me!

Sincerely,

Every Girl
